Canopy Sands Development, a subsidiary of Prince Group under the leadership of Chen Zhi Cambodia, is pleased to have hosted Dara Huot, Chief Executive Officer of Phare Performing Social Enterprise, and his team. Phare Performing Social Enterprise is a Siem Reap social enterprise that has supported Phare Ponleu Selpak NGO in Battambang since 1994 by providing art schools, educational programmes, and social support.
We informed Phare of our intentions for Sihanoukville, where a significant coastal development project will rejuvenate Cambodia's third-largest city by means of world-class initiatives and inclusive growth. In terms of community participation in Sihanoukville, our philanthropic arm, Prince Foundation, collaborated with Plan International (Cambodia) to ensure that schools could reopen safely at the beginning of the school year! We also recently attended a fundraiser for Phare Punleau Selpak at the Rosewood Phnom Penh to show our appreciation for the wonderful job they are doing to enhance the lives of Cambodians via arts education.
