Neak Oknha Chen Zhi, Chairman of Prince Holding Group, one of Cambodia's largest and fastest growing conglomerates, has donated US$2 million to help the Lao government combat the COVID-19 pandemic. Chen Zhi Prince Group had also contributed $1 million earlier in September. Both donations were made in response to Prime Minister Hun Sen's call for bilateral COVID-19 cooperation between the two neighbouring countries.

Guy Chhay, a board member of Prince Holding Group, finalises the donation on Chen Zhi's behalf at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh. The two donations totaling $3 million are intended to aid Laotians in their fight against the pandemic. Read more about the donations

With Cambodia being one of the most vaccinated countries in the world, Chen Zhi, an entrepreneur and Mekong business leader, understands how critical it will be for Cambodian businesses to support neighbouring countries in their anti-COVID efforts. Prince Holding Group, as a leading Cambodian enterprise, aspires to contribute to the Kingdom's leadership role in regional affairs at a critical juncture in Southeast Asia.

This year, Prince Holding Group has been at the forefront of CSR activities, holding companies such as Prince Real Estate Group, Prince Bank, Prince Huanyu Real Estate, Belt Road Capital Management, Awesome Global, and Cambodia Airways. This included the launch of one of the country's largest scholarship programmes (the "Chen Zhi Scholarship"), and the Group has received eight international awards while maintaining business continuity in the face of adversity.
